Coastal Cleanup Day is a global day of action to remove trash on beaches and shorelines, engaging tens of thousands of volunteers every year. Join Baykeeper’s cleanup and do your part to stop trash pollution from hurting beautiful San Francisco Bay!

Baykeeper’s Coastal Cleanup Day

When: Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 9:00am – 12:00 pm

How to track my trash: Install the Clean Swell app (for iPhone or Android) and select "SF Baykeeper" as your group.

(If you don't have a smartphone, you can use a printable tally sheet instead).

When you arrive at your cleanup site, use the Swell app to track the quantity of each trash item type you find.

What to bring for your in-person cleanup:

Old clothing (that you don’t mind getting dirty!)

Sturdy shoes that can get wet and muddy

An extra layer

Hat and sunglasses

Sunscreen

Water Bottle/Reusable cup

Share and inspire our community
